Virtual Desktop Streamer crashes on connect from Oculus Go
Every time I connect to my PC from my Oculus Go I get an error that "Virtual Desktop Streamer has encountered a problem."

The error says, "Could not find a channel matrix for specified channelmasks."

The frustrating part is that if I just move the error out of the way the desktop streaming works perfectly, except that the error is always on top. As soon as I click "Send Error Report" or "Don't Send" though, the streamer crashes on my PC and my connection is lost from the Oculus Go.

It's frustrating because it works so well except for this.

BTW I am connecting from Windows 10 running via bootcamp on an iMac. Looks like I am running version 1.0.5.0 of the streamer on my PC.

I’ve had reports of this and have a fix that will prevent the error from showing up. You can manually uninstall the Streamer app from your PC and download/install this version instead: https://download.vrdesktop.net/files/VirtualDesktop.Streamer.Setup.Test.exe

You won’t get audio streaming to your headset however. Have you tried updating your sound drivers? I’m curious how the speakers in Windows are configured to make this error happen. Any info would help me track down this issue. Thanks!
Interesting, I'll try to tell you what I can about the speakers later. Bummer about the audio not streaming.

Thanks for the link to this version!
