cannot connect to virtual desktop service

So me virtual desktop has been working fine but i launched it today and keep getting that error anyone else having this issue and how can i fix it ? i reinstalled it and it didnt help

Goto start menu, control panel, programs and features. Try to find “Virtual Desktop Service” and Uninstall it. If it doesn’t exist, go to installation folder and double-click “VirtualDesktop.Service.msi”. Restart Virtual Desktop.

You fixed it! OMG thank you so much : 3 Since I finally hyped down after getting my VR, Virtual desktop is honestly what I use 90% of my time. I just wish I could link it to my steam acct so I could get the add on rooms that are on steam x3 I bough it on rift when I first got my vr and didnt even think to check steam lol.. I really appreciate you putting out the app and specially being so active in it and the support :D <3 Thanks again ^^

You probably have software that prevents the service from starting. Make sure the service is set to automatic. Go to Start -> Services.msc, then make sure the Virtual Desktop Service is started and set to automatic.
