Oculus quest stuttering
Hey guys, I'm trying to play some steamvr games through virtual desktop sideloaded to my quest. Its amazing we can do this, but im having constant stutter every second or two, it really ruins the VR experience, not so much latency but just stutter. My PC has an i7 4790k, 16GB RAM and an RTX 2070. I'm connecting with 5Ghz wireless router still having stutters, does anybody have any ideas or things they can think of that may help?
Cheers!

You can enable the “Extra Latency Mode” option in the Settings panel, this will help with micro stutters. Also make sure your computer is wired to your router with an Ethernet cable
Following this...I was having issues when I started messing with this today. Mostly, with video quality (but sound was just fine). I swapped out my flaky router for a working unit and boom, video was near perfect....but then I was facing audio drops/stutters.

You can try enabling the “Virtual audio driver” option since this will use a built-in driver rather than the one from your computer
it seems that the audio is coming out both my machine and the headset (even though mirroring is not set up in the settings)....but I wonder if this is contributing to the issue...I feel like I'm close. Sweet torture.

You can check “mute computer speakers” to only have audio on the headset, or enable the Virtual audio driver option as I mentioned above.
