Virtual Desktop with turned off monitor (Displayport)
Hello,
I experience some problems with Virtual Desktop after switching my monitor off:
- The Virtual Desktop application will freeze (visually not functionally) until the display is turned on again (the buttons are usable but the GUI will never be updated even when switching tabs)
- Common video players like VLC, Windows Media Player, etc. will either not show the video or not play any sound

I had a working setup with turning off the display while using a monitor with DVI connector. The issue seems to be with the Displayport, as it will tell Windows that it is turned off.

I know this issue might not be resolved completely because it is most likely in Windows itself, but is there a possibility that the user interface will refresh in this situation as it is the most annoying part?

Some more details:
- There is no difference if Virtual Desktop is started before or after turning off the display
- I have one monitor (21:9) connected via Displayport to my graphics card, Nvidia GTX 980Ti with the latest drivers (before I had two, one with DVI and one with Displayport)
- I'm running Windows 10 (Creators Update)
- I did not test HDMI displays
