Dungeon Nightmares II : The Memory

Tips and Enemy Guide
So, I've been playing this game on and off for some time, and had to restart several times. First off, one of the best horror games I have ever played. Like this game, seriously scares me....every time....and every time I walk down the hotel corridor, towards the elevator, I immediately start to feel a mixture of anxiety and what I wonder is a jolt of adrenaline released by my brain.

Never mind that though...I am not sure how long the game is, and given that the dungeons are randomly generated, it makes sense there is no walkthrough. However, at the very least I was wondering if anyone had any advice, or tips and even if we can talk about some of the ghosts / demons/monsters you encounter and how you deal with them. I figure, by doing so, I can at least stop force quitting every time I feel like I am about to die.

-The child ghost that randomly runs by you: pretty easy...not much to do and it doesn't kill....

-The floater - this thing makes a stuttering groaning sound and it just seems to float slowly, towards you....I feel like I was able to run past it, and I won't die if accidentally touch it once.

-The burned up screamer - you can hear this thing stomping around...seems to move slowly...until it sees you....then it lets out an ear-piercing scream and starts to chase you....I have either died from this thing, or I've ran away...seems that if I get enough distance between me and it, the creature disappears, or I can lead it into a bigger room where I can then run past it...I have never tried to run past this thing in a hallway....I feel like that’s asking for trouble.

-Bob the skeleton - the skeletons that move when you have your back to them....I've found that rather than pay attention to them, whenever I encounter them, I let them touch me once, and then wait to heal up...after that it seems like won't follow you, or there is a long cooldown until they start up again. It's kind of important to heal up before doing anything else, as triggering a trap chest or door, could then potentially kill you.

-The crawling giant - I really don't get this guy....I don't think I have died from this thing, but it is a pain in the ass when you confront this guy in a long hallway....(has anyone tried to run past it and see if you get killed by a single touch?)...again, after some distance, it seems to disappear.

-Crawling burned baby - This thing follows you at a decent pace...almost feels like an annoying fly....pretty easy to run past and avoid.

-The floating skull - Not sure what its story is...usually run away when I confront this thing.

-The walking lighthouse skeleton - This skeleton comes out the ground and seems to emit a Godzilla like scream....bright light protrudes from its eye sockets and it slowly walks toward you...haven't tried to run past it in a hallway....always had to lure it into a large room and then run around it...

-The stealthy ninja demon thing - This one is pain....I hear the footsteps of it following me....but I have never been able to run away, or figure it out.....always insta-kills me...I have heard that using a candle. or a spark helps you see it? But haven't had a chance to test this out properly.

Those are pretty much all the creatures I've confronted in the dungeon....usually my plan of dealing with each creature that kills you, is to panic and scream....at which point I am either successful at running away....or I get confused where I am and pretty much end running into a wall or a door....followed up by death....

So any players out there....please share your tips and trick to deal with some of the creatures...or anything else that helps for surviving the dungeon....

(I read in the previous post about the location of the save file....that will help me as I've been doing the Force Quit trick right before I die in order to prevent starting all over again. With this knowledge, I feel like I will be able to study the beasts in dungeon a bit more thoroughly the next time I play.)

I really like this write-up and want to keep this at the top for discussion.

Whilst I know how they "work" I rather see how players figure them out or not figure them out for future reference :)

UPDATE: So I made an awesome discovery last gameplay....the big crawling guy is just an illusion. Just run right into him and he will disappear.

Also, I am not sure what triggered this, but for the first time, one of the crawling babies gave chase, and was crawling faster then usual....

The assassin insta kill guy you can out run. Head for a door you already opened and close it behind you. He then has to smack the door down giving you time to either get away or position yourself in a room to run around him then close the door on him again. This also works for the bloody screaming girl and the skeletons.

The babies chase you faster if you have a candle burning.

Latest news , I have tried that if the crawling giant is passed by a player , the giant will disappear and do no harm to player . Besides , if player light a candle , the giant will aslo disappear .

One thing I will add to this list is that skeletons will insta-kill you if you spark a light too close to them. Found this out the hard way.
