Dungeon Nightmares II : The Memory

My Feedback & Suggestions For Dungeon Nightmares 2
Dungeon Nightmares 2 The Memory is a good horror game. I have suggestions for improvements:

Please add a brightness/gamma setting. I get that it’s a horror game and darkness in horror games is expected. But there’s a difference between dark and too dark. This game is too dark. Having to turn up the brightness and the contrast on your monitor because you can barely see anything should not be required. It’s so dark that the player can easily miss a chest or a power switch.

Why can’t the player run and jump in the main apartment hallways? Seems odd to me.

Considering that the game is way too dark, why do the candles last for such a short amount of time? Why are candles so rare in the game? And why do candles provide such a small amount of light in a game that is already way too dark?

Can you please make it so that if the player finds the exit elevator before they are able to leave, the elevator is automatically marked on the map so that the player knows how to get back to it later?

Can you add an option to turn off the constant heartbeat sounds? I get that it’s supposed to add to the tension, but the player doesn’t need to constantly hear them over and over and over.

If the player dies and goes to the “Pick A Door” room, why don’t you make it so that if they pick the Life/Continue door, they get a different thing that happens rather than getting the same thing that happens when you pick the Death/Game Over door? Both doors have the same thing happen: The woman screams and falls to her death.

If you do decide to make a Dungeon Nightmares 3 game, please don’t have any time limit levels in it.

Why don’t you have the game tell the player what night/level they’re on when they wake up from the alarm clock? Something as simple as it saying “Night 1”, “Night 2”, etc, would work.

Pressing Escape to pause the game doesn’t actually pause the game. If you press Escape, enemies can still move and attack you. Can you make it so that pressing Escape actually does pause the game? And related to that, can you also make it so that when the player clicks on a newspaper or a note, they can read it without being attacked by enemies?

Why is there such a delay between clicking on something (like a door) and the message coming up? If the player clicks on multiple objects in a row, there is a significant delay between each message for each object. Maybe lessen the delay?

Please fix the bug where sometimes when you start the game, all of the launcher settings are reset back to their defaults.

Please fix the bug where the game crashes every single time it is exited. I have seen others report this same bug. Please fix this very annoying bug. I’m using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. I have tried running the game in Compatibility Mode for Windows 8.1 and Windows 7, the crash still happens. I have tried running the game in Administrator Mode, the crash still happens. I have tried disabling the Steam Overlay for the game, the crash still happens. I have tried running the game by not having the Steam program running at all and just opening the game’s DungeonNightmaresII.exe file, the crash still happens. Fix this annoying bug please. EDIT: After playing the game some more and getting more Game Overs and starting over again more times, the game is no longer crashing when I exit it. I'm guessing that the crash has something to do with the game's Windows Registry settings? Maybe after you get enough Game Overs and start over again enough times, the game writes certain data to the Windows Registry that allows the game to exit properly without a crash?

That’s all that I can think of for now. I hope that my suggestions will be considered and implemented. Thank you!

for the elevator exit thing what i do is just circle the thing around 5 times to create a big circle on my map.

i do support the idea for a slider.. i mean you can have a game like dreadhalls be just as scary and have a brighter setting.
