Exchange save file between PCs
So, I bought the game and we played on my GF's notebook (on steam account). When I tried to play on my PC (again on my account) I saw that the game did not have a cloud service. Ok, that's all right, just copy the save files from her notebook. Problem is, it does not matter what do I copy, I can't access our campaign. I copied the whole /steamapp/commom/eonaltar and the wholte user/appdata/Locallow/...

Any Idea how to use my save data on my PC?
Thanks!

Eon Altar uses the registry to save metadata about the save game itself (the entries in the main menu are generated from that data), so you'd need to copy the registry hive as well as the locallow folder to the new machine (HKCU\SOFTWARE\Flying Helmet Games). Note this will overwrite all of your Eon Altar settings on the new machine.

Covering my butt, blah blah blah: Note that currently, transferring saves to another machine is technically not an officially supported technique, and I cannot guarantee this technique will continue to be supported in the future. Do so at your own risk.

But for now, it should do the trick.

While I like your game, this has done it for me. Why would you make transferring a savegame such a complicated process.. a save game or parts of it to registry?!? I can't possibly bang my head hard enough onto the table.
