Game pausing continually

The game keeps pausing and unpausing. Also there's a continual beeping going on.

Hello, very sorry that's happening to you. It certainly shouldn't.

Is the game actually entering the pause menu, or just stuttering generally?

If the former, looking at the code the pause menu will pop up if you...

a) Press "Escape" to pause the game
b) Pull out a controller
c) Press "Start" on a controller
d) Tab away from the application

Hi Philip. Thanks for replying. I hadn't done any of those things but have resolved the issue by uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling.

Cool. Glad it worked out in the end. 100 million players with 100 million different configurations. PC development is crazy.
