During the day, it is difficult to encounter them (likely due to time zones), but at night—often from 8 PM to 6 AM—there is a noticeable increase in these types of players, many of whom are using alternate accounts.
* Provide servers for these players, or if you don’t want to allocate servers for them, implement an algorithm or client-side programming that enforces high latency for anyone connecting from outside the European servers. This latency should be significant enough to prevent them from exploiting the connection or gaining an unfair advantage over regular European players.
On the killer's side, if someone uses Dead Man’s Switch, Pain Resonance, or Grim Embrace, the client grants them an advantage in perk activation, leaving survivors unaware of what’s happening. Grim Embrace is the most obvious example: if the killer has 120ms ping, the perk should activate immediately after they hook someone, but in reality, there is a delay, catching survivors off guard. This allows killers with high latency to gain an unfair advantage.
The same happens when survivors have high latency—they can gain speed boosts, benefit from delayed hit registration, and exploit other mechanics against the killer in various situations.
A proper system should include an algorithm that helps flag and report such behavior, issuing preventive punishments. If the player continues their toxic behavior, the system should escalate the severity of penalties accordingly.
