Blast Mine

Blast Mine is just a kinda bad perk. It isn't fun when the one time in forever I play with a gen build, I'm put against a team of people with Blast Mine. I think it's just kinda stupid that you have a perk that's a deterrent to kicking gens, rather than a block like Repressed Alliance. It's just not a fun perk tbh :/

If you dont like the perk your best bet is bringing lightborn. I personally don't use it because blinds really arent that big of a deal most times,but maybe it will help you

Issue is Lightborn doesn't stop the stun. Even then, it's running a perk without even knowing the survivors' loadouts ahead of time. Lightborn is basically like Shattered Hope, but a bit more useful

Yeah, the biggest problem with Blast Mine isn't the flash but the stun, it's specially worse when most of the time even with perks specialized for kicking gens don't do enough regression when the survivors can just tap the generator to cancel it.

Honestly I think the gen should just glow basekit. I mean, when it comes down to it, there's only really 2 ways to counter Blast Mine. 1) Use a gen damaging perk like Pain Res or Jolt; 2) Use Knight's guard to damage the generator without triggering the mine. If there's gonna be no way to counter the mine or get around it, then at least make it so the killer doesn't have to take a full gamble. Especially since for the event, there's the margarita machines
