MAKE Voice/Proximity chat ALREADY

its not 2015 anymore all games have voice chat even roblox,rocket league,valorant most toxic games has it COD TOO so why is it being avoided to be added in dbd? its a fun idea and im tired of only killers/survivors being pasted into the game give us a real update.

as much as i would love to see prox chat be a thing for both killer and survivors i don't think it'll EVER be added, not before some sort of ping system at least

I agree with you there. Unless there’s an event going on (I’ve mostly enjoyed Lights Out, Haunted By Daylight and Bone Chill in solo queue so far) there simply isn’t enough to do-and what there is to do is repetitive busy work, loop the killer (I don’t find that fun), try to stealth around the killer while doing objectives (I do find that fun, but thanks to the infinite wisdom of content creators whining and the devs listening and nerfing Distortion into the ground while buffing killer aura read spam-a stealth playstlyle is rarely viable currently) or worst of all-do nothing because you’re hooked or slugged.

I don’t think adding proximity chat is the answer though. Survivor, particularly solo survivor needs at the very least several QoL improvements if not a complete rework though.

SWF w/comms exist-survivors already have that advantage if they have access to discord. Still think it’s a terrible idea to implement voice chat into the main game. We just need a communication wheel and to be able to see our teammates perks in lobby (w/o the killer being able to see them, of course).

for SFW its a disadvantage since now the killer can hear you when talking to teammates and you cant talk to them across the map for an unfair advantage

I mean why not, as long as it is optional. But I am sure that a lot of survivors will still perform poorly despite having that for them. But then those "loud minority" will find other excuses to make.
