No to fetch quests, yes to more classes. The mode is a non-starter for me as solo survivor with no stealth class and basekit killer aura reading. Needs a stealth class, an offensive class, a boon class, and something REALLY unique that every survivor can ONLY do in 2v8. They reworked hooking to make it less tedious for killers in 2v8-maybe do the same with gens for survivors. Adding busy work is the opposite of that.
Yes, you wouldn't be forced to play survivor, only if you want priority queue. If you wanted to play all killer matches, you'd still be able to wait longer for your match, but not forced to queue for survivor.
That's why I recommend something like 30 minutes of survivor gameplay, because immediately losing wouldn't count much towards the priority queue. Also, crows would stop the timer so you can't AFK for it.
The idea is more a reward for people to play both sides because there are a lot of people who only play killer and that's why the queues are like what they're like. But honestly, the killer matches I queue for are only like 5 minutes anyways because I play solo q and non-typical killer (avoid playing legion, Wesker, nemesis). Queuing with a friend increases the wait time a lot because now you just need to find only survivors, whereas solo you can fill a lobby.
This is infinitely better than anything the devs have tried so far
