Joking aside you know that with all the gen nerf and the limitation on the amount of kick that killer are adapting their build and the next best thing after gen slowdown is to use aura build so they can down the next survivor asap the only thing is this only work on good killer with a good power.
As long as distortion is the way it is I don't see aura builds as viable. You have to run multiple of them to proc their charges fast enough to drain them which heavily restricts your build. Then if you proc distortion in the chase you just deleted their scratch marks but aura reads in a chase are probably the most valuable form of it.
I'm not saying it can't be done. It's just not really that viable when all survivors need to do is equip distortion and play the game. Generally, you don't see aura builds that often outside of killers that benefit greatly from seeing them at long distance. That scenario isn't really impacted by any of these downsides.
