It's not 'no terror radius'.
Outside of his Hidey Ho mode, you can see his footsteps. Even through obstacles.
When he does his Slice and Dice, he screams VERY loudly, and if you listen out for that, it's really easy to time DH. It's also very hard to turn during the attack, so if you juke sharply especially around terrain, he's literally got to fling his mouse across the room to try and 180 to hitting you, and it's more luck than actual precision.
He's also slow, 110% speed compared to the normal 115. Some loops if you're a veteran looper you can extend a bit more if your distancing is good.
If you hate him crawling under pallets, you can bring Any Means Necessary. If you spam it at the pallet, he can't crawl under it, so just do that and wait until his power expires.
2. That's his TEMPORARY power that goes away with time
3. It's like Blights where it's damn near impossible to turn once you start it
4. And? There's 4 survs with just as many aura reading perks, escape perks, heal perks, anti-slug mechanics.
There's always an option to deal with killers. With Chucky the name of the game is to just PAY ATTENTION. You must hate playing against Stealth Killers in general
We have multiple killers that can turn either nearly or completely invisible.
We have multiple killers that can injure a survivor from anywhere on the map.
We have multiple stealth killers that can down in 1-hit as part of their basekit power.
Nurse goes through solid objects.
Pig's traps kill you if you try to leave with one on.
Like, in the long list of ways that various killer powers have effected the game, and broken things that have been released, Chucky may actually be the best balance I've seen them achieve with a new killer, on release.
Balance is based on the numbers, rather than players saying "I feel like this is OP."
Everyone seems to think he's overpowered & many complain about his FOV. I've both played him AND played against him hence why I said if you can't see Chuckle over a loop he can't see you either. In fact...will drop this here too...mentioned it in another thread too:
His FOV is not THAT dissimilar from other killers. I have the SAME FPP issue I have with Chucky as with other killers, sometimes running into a wall rather than the doorway...due to the FOV...mind you is a BIT better as you DO see his body BUT the FOV is still limited unlike a true 3rd person which causes me to still occasionally misjudge a distance on wall/door in a chase.
Regarding aura reading you DO know survivors ALSO have aura reading perks. Some pretty darned good ones too. Plus as already mentioned the small size works for and against him. If YOU can't see him I guarantee you HE can't see you either (not counting aura reading perks) This is where mind games come in. You have to try & guess what the other side will do/go.
