Will let a dev get back to you on this.
Just to reiterate what Murf said, the heartbeat sound is a huge part of the game.
But sounds are, like, everywhere. Does he hate all sounds?
I wonder if there are people who hate air.
I love hearing the beats get faster and louder and the music increasing, and then see him coming, adjust myself so I am behind a rock or what not, and he walks right by me. Very cool feeling :)
No not all sound. It's particular sounds. It literally makes her have the want to stab her eardrums with a screwdriver. Look up this stuff, it's a common want for people who have this condition. No need to be inconsiderate.
But what about for players that are hearing impaired? Are they excluded from a game such as this? I'd like to think there will be some form of minor visual notification of sorts.
I'm not sure what exact mechanism is in place for this, but there's the obvious third-person view which makes a killer nearby easy to spot.
I did. It's still in reply to your* first comment.
