Way to save teammates when they are being carried by the killer

I think it would be a good idea to add a sort of stun that would make the killer drop someone. My friend puts it like this, "Why am I not a able to just kick the killer in the ankle to make him drop my teammate?" , and I believe he has a valid point

Well then they should fix the damn flashlight. Flashlight is literal garbage a kid spammed it in my eyes and i just smacked him twice.

Does the flashlight need a bit of tweaking? maybe
I can't really speak about that due to never actually using it yet as a survivor, but I was told you have to aim at the eyes, not just the face, and hold it for 2 sec.

Personally my experience vs the flashlight as a killer has been 80-90% of survivors waving the flashlight in my direction like their real self wets their pants in fear. Quite immersive feeling when you see fear in a survivors actions. I don't see that in the game much right now and really enjoy it where i can find it. It is also easy to know when someone get it in the right spot and you have about 1/2 a sec to turn away before you are blinded.

But have also played against a few survivors that have mastered the flashlights mechanic and blinded me up to twice in a single game each. Had one survivor save the same guy twice by blinding me while I was hooking him. (You cant look away during that animation).

100% the flashlight needs a buff. I just blocked the Killer's path completely while he was carrying a survivor so he couldn't go in the log cabin. Stood perfectly still. Aimed the flashlight right at him. He hit me. Aimed the flashlight at him again dead in the face. Doesn't drop my teammate.

Flashlight is absolute garbage. Hasn't worked since beta.

When I use the flashlight I always have to aim at where the camera on the killer is, which is in his chest. It seems like that's the only place the flashlight is effective.

For the first month playing this game I aimed at his chest and then moved it up towards his head just like I would in an FPS. My friend said the only way to stun him is by aiming directly at his face, and he's a rank 1 killer.

Have you gotten him to drop any survivors doing this?

Aiming at his face? No, not really. I got the killer to drop the survivor by aiming the beam at his chest though. Maybe a recent update accidentally changed where to aim or something.

I've blinded a few killers with the flashlight but only with one i brought in with upgrades the one you find in every other chest is pretty much useless. You dont just need to get it right in their eyes you need to hold it there for a bit and they have to pretty much be looking directly at you. Really the only sure way is to catch them in a swing animation or at the hook.
