Leon's character + his resident evil 4 skin costs 3x more than resident evil 4 itself. Does no one have a problem with that??? I don't understand not only how they get away with this with numerous skins but how people even buy it.

All survivors are the same so you don't miss anything
For killer at most you will see the weapon skin. But what's the point if there are 20 killers to play, you will never be tired of the default skin

They should really be selling cosmetics for like $3-$5 tops imo. But people are willing to spend more on a skin than a DLC, so... That's how it's gonna be.

Y’all getting milked harshly, this ♥♥♥♥ is expensive and whiles I get this is one of their main ways of making money aside from DLCs, at least make good and functional content.

You can have cosmetic dlc with reasonable prices. $15 may not seem like a lot but when talking about a literal costume, a costume from a game which is $5, that's a bit of an issue.

Pretty sure the only reason RE games are so cheap NOW is they are the older games... So take it this way... Would you think it's okay for them to charge $15 for a Lady Dimitrescu skin? It's no different, just because the game is older and therefore cheaper.

Oh, wait I have an idea. Let's make the Chris Redfield skin $1.50 but a Lady Dimetrescu skin? That'll cost you $150. After all, if we are basing the "fair" price for the current cost of Resident Evil 2, why not use the current cost for Resident Evil Village? How's that sound?

How is that helping you at all? That still wouldn't be fair pricing.

Post has no relation to gameplay. Is it possible a fan of resident evil just wants to possibly play as leon in his costume from a game he played growing up? Posts about how if I wanted to do that i'd need to shell out $15.

That's the point though. "Fair" pricing can't be determined by the price of the game the skin is from. If $10-15 is a fair price or not, it' still not relative to the price of RE2 today or when it first came out.

It was never meant to be a benchmark for pricing... it was a funny comparison... Regardless, non idiots agree its too much.

You know when they license the characters from preexisting franchises it costs Behaviour money, yes? It also takes artists time and effort to create both the concept art and the finished models and additional skins. Those don't just fall off f'ing cosmetic trees. It all costs money lol.

And for the record, being all, "I'd TOTALLY spend more money if things were cheaper" seems a bit suspect coming from someone who's opening complaining about $15 being a lot of money. That's 2 large coffees at starbucks. Shrugs. And judging by how many survivors I come across with that skin, I'd say they did just find without having to pry 3 wrinkly Lincolns from your cheap, vice like grip on your wallet.

we all bought the game and would like to enjoy the cosmetics but theyre ridiculously overpriced. i hate hearing that whack excuse "theyre optional". so what? are we not allowed to criticise???
