Killer's Mouse Sensitivity - 0 is still too fast
Like in the topic.

I'm Overwatch player, so I'm a FPS player. And I'm sure a lot of people are. I'm used to low DPI, low sensitivity. I don't have any issue with Survivor's sensitivity, the bar actually works, I have it on 10% and it's fine.

But then there is Killer. I have 0% on him (with lowest DPI in my mouse, which is 400) and yet with short move to the right I'm making 360. What am I supposed to than? I can't even lower my DPI, cuz I have it on lowest possible in my mouse. I've set it to 100% for a test, and it wasn't that diffrent from 0%.

Please, devs, let us have low sensitivity on killers. It's impossible to swing for someone, who plays FPS games and is used to low sensitivity. Very low sensitivity. Especially, when that person is not playing DBD only... It's really frustrating and makes playing this game not fun...

I'm having this same issue too, I hope they come out with a fix for it sometime soon. I don't really like to play this game since its hard to even walk around with such a high turn speed.

have you tried setting it as close as possible to 0 without it being 0? maybe a mathematical error that creates weird interactions with dpi, like one of those polynomial functions that go towards infinity when approaching 0.

I had it on 1% previosuly. Still too fast, almost the same. And the diffrence between 100% and 0-1% isn't that big tbh

There is actually a solution to this, it took me forever to find. :P

You can open the Dead by Daylight config file "input.ini" located in:

"C:\Users\<Your_Account_Name>\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\"

By using notepad, and change the "Scale=" values in the following two lines:

AxisMappings=(AxisName="LookUp",Key=MouseY,Scale=-1)
AxisMappings=(AxisName="Turn",Key=MouseX,Scale=1)

-.5 and .5 respectively will cut the sensitivity in half, for example.

Hope this helps someone else out.

Pc players be complaining that the game is to sensitive.

Console players be setting the sensitivity to max and just crying they can’t 180

That should really be helpful for anyone who still needs it! I got used to the actual sensitivity of the killer. Maybe I'll change it when I'll have more space for my mouse, hah.

Input.ini and GameUserSettings.ini should not be empty

Make sure you're in the right place since everything from appdata --> is hidden by default otherwise input.ini and gameusersettings.ini have lots of settings in them but the rest of the .ini files are blank

Yea bro, i have the same issues, and it's been a year since you posted this and they still didn't change anything.

I think you can adjust the sensitivity in the file "GameUserSettings.ini". You can find it under "%localappdata%\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor" (paste this in your cortana). Just change the value at "KillerMuseSensitivity=" and "SurvivorMuseSensitivity=".
