Devs: Could you please rename "VHS Porn?"

I really do understand the intent behind this, as it enhances the killer's malevolent sleaziness. However, my cousin plays this with his 7 year old son, and I can imagine this game being uninstalled the first time my cousin sees this. My request is not just about my specific cousin, but all parents who have young children who play this game.

Please consider changing the name of this. Perhaps "VHS Snuff Film"?

It's not the devs fault if parents leave their children in front of a Mature rated game.

A killer than bite survivor's throat and eat them alive is fine, but an add-on named VHS porn is a no go ?

Sure...I get that...I totally am behind your point.
However, my point is that people can be driven away over something that really is a pretty minor thing to take out and is only there for a little bit of "flavor." Flavor, by the way, that can be turned in any other direction. So, yeah, it's not the "devs fault," but I never suggested it would be anyone's fault. It can just keep parents from letting their kids play. And that, in turn, drives down the player population.

I mean, I don't want to be an nitpicking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or whatever, but the game is pretty much explicit the way it is already. I can understand than the word "Porn" can shock some people, but we are living in the 21st century, either you watched porn yourself or you heard of it. I don't see the big deal behind an add-on into a M 17+ game named "Porn VHS"

Sure the devs could have went another way, but come on, there is alot worst than for children eyes to witness inside this very game, and I'd not recommend putting this game into a child's hand... I do know first hand what it is to have nightmare about an horror video game.

I'm really sorry, I hope you're not implying I'm being toxic. I really agree with what everyone else has replied to me with. Yes, the Devs have a right to put something like that in. Yes, the Devs can do this. And sure, it is a Mature-rated game. Got it. I got all that.

When you state that "either you watched porn yourself or you heard of it," are you talking to me, a grown man? Or are you talking to a 6 or 7 year old boy? Because the answers are going to be different almost all the time. And because, again, I'm not offended at all. I'm just considering children being exposed to it.

I disagree that the violence in this game is worse than premature exposure to porn or the concept of porn. I would argue the opposite. There are a lot more porn addicts than serial killers.

I'm not talking to the 6 or 7 year old boy, premature exposition to mature and adult content is never a good idea, I'm talking about a grown man you are.

I do get your point, but again, the only answer I can give you is than devs puts what ever they want into this game, specially because there is a M 17+ rating on it. Don't get me wrong, the M 17+ is not a exuse to put extreme violence, like the one you can see on Saw movies, but to change the name of an add-on to prevent kids to be exposed to premature porn is, in my opinion, legit... but no matter the reason, kid should not be explosed to Dead by daylight in the first place... If parents are too sloppy or decide to expose their chidren to it, I believe it's on the parents

So, you do know the rating, yet you want a change to one of the reasons it has got the rating? It's like they're making a mature horror movie for 18+ and you ask them to cut out the sex-sxene because you're bringing your kid.

If your cousin is already so irresponsible to let a 7 year old play a game that is rated for adults, having him potentially stumble across the word "porn" is the least of his problems.

Sorry, but there should not be any changes made to "censor" this game for the odd kid that is allowed by their irresponsible relatives to play this game that is really not intended for them.

It is but it's very true too and super sad, It's the fact that at some point, society just decided kids should act like adults now so nothing is held from them anymore.

I knew exactly what sex was and how to do it by the time I was 5, It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how horrible parents are nowadays.
