Green key must have an usage
Tried to ask this question several times in the Q&A stream but never got an answer, so posting it here too:

What do you think about adding new chests in the game (maybe 1 or 2 per game) that needs a key to be opened and have better chance to drop higher quality items with some addons? This would also give a proper way to use a green key found in a chest during a trial.

It does. Green keys track things, killer aura, survivor aura, black locks etc. Purple opens the hatch, cannot track anything. Pink does both.

Nice reading skill, "This would also give a proper way to use a green key found in a chest during a trial."

My god...

Also if we're talking about add-ons, dull key too can be used to track stuffs.
So in whatever way you see what you wrote, you wrote BS.

So:

A says: "This would also give a proper way to use a green key found in a chest during a trial."
B says: "It does. Green keys track things"
A says: "Green doesn't track anything, wtf are you saying?"
C says: "You have to use these magic things called...ADDONS"

So, i'm the dumbo here right?
You probably don't know how a forum works then.

Well. Why can you not have items which do nothing? If you think of it you wouldn't find an item that does something EVERY single time in the survival. Like you have bad perks... so why can you not have bad items?

One thing is that due to circumstances you can even not use a found item, another thing is that you find an item that is completely useless no matter what the circumstances.

I'd always be up for more tasks to do during the game.

And I agree that there should never be items that have no use when found.

The green key should recieve a change like the brown medkit to make it actually serve a purpose without the need for addons.

My suggestion would be to either add a chest that can be opened with green key found in another chest OR just remove the green key from the trial loot (Only obtainable via bloodweb).

I do get what you mean, I wouldn't mind dull key becoming a broken key after use on the hatch.
It is common blood web too, so ... it's not like you are going to run out of them.
