Played King with Lv1 of it. Got rekt pretty hard and only 7k points. Got 26k out of it, because i also had a +25% offering. #balanced
Still... Might be fun to have the same perk as a killer... But you can't say that's OP! People will just be more altruistic, is a waste of perk If you play selfish or Stealth... is a ''Medic'' build... that makes it cool... If you think it's so OP or stuff like that... than use it...
At this point even Thrill of the Hunt is OP... which is not...
World is full of stupid people so I'm not surprised either way. There's a number of other people who would have simply said "yes" unironically, and I don't recognize you from the forums.
Plain text cannot display any kind of emotion, let alone sarcasm. I also don't read minds. Don't be surprised if a stranger can't detect sarcasm from plain text stating "yes".
Only very recently became active again. Only recognize maybe 10 people or less. Guess I'll be adding you to that list.
Doing a gen = 1/2 pip. So if you do 2 gens and escape you pip. If you don't do any gens but still escape OR if you 2 gens with no escape you safety pip. You could also do 4 gens and not escape and pip, but 2 gens for a single survivor is about the limit I think. Then maybe for those rare occasions where you do 4 gens and escape then you double pip.
Just how you wanna deal with the 1/2 Pip for Gens.
You run around and spot someone working on a gen and already did 90% and you go there for the last 10% also worth a 1/2 pip ?
and if your in a chase for almost the whole time and did not had time to do a gen.... is it legit to depip then if you die and gave others the posibillity to do the gens ?
Then if you get facecamped when downed you do not even have a chance to do something

You could maybe measure the amount of gen pips based on % done. So doing more than 80% gen by yourself = 1 pip, but doing 25-79% is only a half pip, and anything less than 25% is no pip (unless it triggers the gen, then you get a half pip). Then you could also do 50% of this gen and 50% of that gen for 100% which is 1 pip.
Maybe an unhook can count as a half pip too, just to give some incentive to save someone. You could say that if someone is on a hook any generator % completion done by other survivors counts for them at 1/3 or something (ie. everyone completes 1 gen, they all get 1 pip for 100%, you get 1 pip for 34% x 3 but you die, if you were the first one hooked and facecamped you got a safety pip for stalling the killer while others escaped).
Also getting facecamped or downed means you can't earn BP either, so what difference would the ranking system make in this situation?
Just saying that it's possible to make a system that works, you just have to playtest a lot of ideas. The point is to make surviving the key component to ranking up, because farming BP is IMO not skillful at all.
