Is it Possible to Find Azarov's Remains?
So, if you've read up on your lore (Pretty sure everyone on this thread has) Then you'll know that Phillip Ojomo, the Wraith, killed his boss, Azarov, by stuffing him in the car crusher, follow by him ripping out his head and spine. Now this begs the question, is the rest of him still there? Stuffed in a little block of rusty cars as a little easter egg on his map, or just gone completely?

Gone completely. There is no evidence of a corpse or chunks of it in the cubes around the map so it's highly likely it's gone completely

The map "Azarov's resting place" means that his corpse could have been buried somewhere in he map.

Well, at least Azarov's head and spine was Wraith's weapon

I would think they would be there somewhere, beyond the wraith-stick. It would be pretty nifty if you could use some sort of artifact-hunting perk to locate killer/victim historical artifacts (add-ones? offering?).

The key definitely exists, which I think he would have had on him at the time he was killed, so that lends to the remains being somewhere around?

Maybe hes buried somewhere near the excavator on the azarovs resting place???

Has anyone noticed bones or flesh sticking out from the wreckage, yet?

On azarovs resting place, inside the building there is a single crushed car inside (there is always a chest near it and sometimes the basement spawns there) I think this is the car that Azarov was crushed in, maybe his body is visible somewhere inside? I don't know I haven't looked closely at it, I'm usually just trying to survive :D

Would be nice to do some Kill Your Friends and explore some of the maps more. I, too, see more walls, bushes, and sadly...hooks...to be able to really digest some of the finer points.

I'm gonna say that you won't be finding Azarov's remains in game, any time soon atleast.

Currently, It's not in the game (Very sure of this) and the only reference of the remains being the "Not-So-Friendly-Love-Stick" that ya boi Phillip uses to maim and injure the survivors. However, I offer 2 explanations as to why

Explanation 1: Multi Realm Theory

So, the game takes place in the Realm of the Entity. Phillip Ojomo was alive in the realm of the living, the real world, whatever, when he killed real world Azarov, so in theory his remains would be in the realm of the living, other than the Wraith's love stick which he took in to the RotE (Realm of the Entity) himself. This and there is a theme of no human remains being in the game other than a Wraith bell add-on (AFAIK).

Explanation 2: Developer ♥♥♥♥

The dev's just didn't add a car compactor or have devised where they intend to put the reference to his remains. Evan MacMillan's victims (and possibly his) remains are referenced on the Suffocation Pit map so It's possible all of the killers victims or the killers remains could be subtly referenced somehow.

*I just realized a flaw in reasoning/perception I had, I believed that Evan led those people into the tunnels and sealed himself in there with his victims and blew the mine leading to his own death but his fate was deamed unknown, will probably make a video on what this means in accordance to whether the characters are alive.*

Regarding "Explanation 1: Multi Realm Theory"...

In the available offerings there are quite a few options that are physical relics of the killers worlds. Heart Locket, Ledger Page, etc. so I do think that it's either the same spot OR some sort of mirror image or something, so I could see the other remains being there as well.

Regarding the presence of bodies anywhere: Benedict's first journal entries state that his investigation was prompted by a very high number of people from the small town of Weeks going missing and that not a single one had been found. This could allow for a few interpretations.

1. The survivors are not dead, they are moving around in their own bodies the same as before becoming trapped and being kept alive apparently without the need for food or water. When their time is up their bodies are either destroyed completely and/or they become killers.

2. They are not dead but their bodies have been hidden and they are in a dream-like state, none of the in-game events are actually happening.

3. The survivors are dead as we know it, their bodies destroyed without a trace and they are in an unknown place of existence.

With 2 we have a dream and the real-world which is now unseen, with 3 we are completely out of the real-world and number 1 allows for either a parasitic dimension copying real-world locations or the survivors are actually in those places but they're under the complete control of the Entity using a mix of illusions and actual physical matter manipulation.

Because it is suggested that the Entity suffers from drawbacks and vulnerability when manifesting itself in the physical world, I woud go with 1: if the Entity had absolute power over a dimension or dream I'd expect it to be without any limitations.

I expected that devs hadn't put it in, was just hoping anyone had proof to prove me wrong, would love to see extra touch of depth to their game by adding in something like that. All the killers have their maps where their stories began, you have the suffocation pit like you said, which in a sense IS the easter egg if we were looking for the Trapper's bit instead of the Wraiths. You also have the Thompson house for the Hillbilly. (Though am I blind or is the room where the Hillbilly was sealed away not there?) Which is his bit of history. Hopefully they'll add in something for the map

The trapper's dad's phalanx(?) bone is an offering. It's a PIECE of human remains...

I wonder if Realms are just manifestations, created by entity (such as certain offerings, like they are scrap form each killer's memories, items they remember very well or are very fonded on which entity uses to create these maps and realms)
