The Realm of The Entity reminds me of The Immaterium from Warhammer 40k, time isn't the same in the 40k universe while your in the Immaterium compared to the Materium (real world). The fact being is that their are humans and machines that are 10,000+ years old in there that still work in their prime.
One thing about Baker is that he could be from before 1900 as well, but since time doesn't work as the same in the Realm of The Entity he could see survivors from present day, and the Hillbilly (which would explain how he knows what a chainsaw is)
Thanks for giving it a read, as for benedict the lore says he begins investigating in 1956, not to say he can't have been born in the very late 1800's. As to the flow of time in the RotE I'm still super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confused as to how that works.
