The Legion- They're scared that if they come back to Ormond they'll be captured because of murder Frank made them to do
The Shape- he just was taken by the entity and just does what pure evil would. It is known that in some cases Meyers is above the entity because he's the only killer whitch can kill with add-ons and not mori.
and something from me:
Letherface- he thinks that his family is near and he wants to protect them from being discoverd by survivors who (in his mind) can call the cops
The entity only torture him when we doesnt listen or lets someone go willingly, basically he isnt really a killer at heart but was raised in a way that the entity got what it wanted in the end.
The Demogorgon is easy, as it is a beast in nature and doesn't need reason to kill it would just need a little motivation (hunger or something else)
The Oni is enraged by the heroic virtuous acts of survivors (rescuing, protecting, and filling others with hope) as The Oni thinks they are pretending to be something they are not, faking it, like the fake samurai pretenders that he loathed so much before he entered the entity's realm. (mentioned in his bio.)
The Trapper seems like someone who literally does not know what else to do with himself at this point.
The Wraith probably got coerced into it via black tentacles...er I mean claws.
The Huntress honestly probably thinks this is just the best game of tag ever conceived.
Micheal Myers: Knife go stab, although I would not be shocked to learn he actually enjoys facing Laurie in an eternal game of slasher film. That honestly seems like his ideal lifestyle.
Freddie is remake Freddie so as gross as it is he legitimately is here for that booty. Gross but true.
The Plague got some weird religious beliefs
I would legitimately be surprised if the Doctor even knows where he is right now to be honest. He cray.
The Hillbilly is maladjusted and likely thinks this is all the closest thing to normal he's gonna get.
The Nurse probably hates being here I mean she legitimately sounds like teleporting hurts and she looks like she's in constant agony but I doubt she has much else to go back to. Plus there were some hints towards mania in her backstory so she might not be completely sane.
The Trickster has a captive audience, that won't die permanently on him, I think he's pretty content.
The Legion are riding that peer pressure high. Also let's be real, they probably did not have much career choice ahead of them. They probably think this is a macabre wonderland made just for them. Time will tell if they get bored and realise it's a prison.
The Clown just likes fingers and there are fingers aplenty to go round in the entities realm.
The Twins legitimately get to be together and be hunter rather than hunted.
The Oni likely has about as much knowledge of where he is and what he's doing as a Khornite in a Bloodrage. But presuming he does know where he is, his thirst for blood is likely a part of him now so I suspect he has not got much choice.
Pyramid Head is probably being manifested using Cheryl as a conduit her trauma in the trials likely feeds his very existence.
Bubba has no family left and got taught that outsiders were for eating so you know he has not really got many good lodging prospects. I'd say chasing survivors around is also kinda vicarious therapy given last time he let someone escape his family all died.
Evan has been brainwashed through torture to worship the Entity as a god.
Hillbilly isn't really sure what's going on. He's just kind of lost himself in bloodlust.
The Hag has lost all semblance of humanity after refusing the Entity too many times and is now driven exclusively by instinct.
The Doctor is a little more difficult. If you follow original lore, he's snapped and has given into the delusion that he's actually helping people by utilizing what he learned in his years of dirty work to cure the survivors of their "disgusting illnesses." If you prefer retcon Doctor, he's there simply because he's having too much fun and wants to see how far he can take science while causing as much pain as possible.
Michael, like Hillbilly, is largely unaware of what is really going on. Unlike Hillbilly, though, he doesn't just live with the way things have changed. He is driven by another power, one that goes beyond the Entity's reach, the power of the Thorn, which allows him to bypass the rules of the Trial.
Freddy actually doesn't want to serve the Entity. He is trapped just as the survivors are, and sees this as the only way to give him enough time to figure out a way to escape while subtly undermining it. He is happy to at least have Quentin to torment, but there are so many children that have forgotten the Springwood Slasher and he cannot abide the Entity keeping him from his children.
Bubba was taken just as the survivors were, and for a time even survived alongside them, but they were intimidated by his condition and he was outcast by the survivors. He hunts in the trials out of the sheer terror of his situation, hoping that by sacrificing the survivors, he won't have to be scared anymore. The Entity reminds him of home, speaking to him in familiar voices to gain his trust and lashing out violently when he fails, pushing him further into desperation.
The Legion is in the same situation as Doc in that there's two answers. In the original lore, they are much like Bubba in that they were chosen to be survivors as well. The others follow Frank's cruel demands, who hears the voice of the Entity driving him to greater feats of cruelty while worming its way into his mind and causing uncontrollable bouts of anger and sudden surges of adrenaline. The others are too afraid to question him and simply fall in line with the new status quo of murder when all they wanted was a little mischief and fun with no bloodshed. In new canon, they are doing it to satisfy Julie's fetish for serial killings and Frank's need to be remembered and are simply enjoying the sweet mayhem, an opportunity to perform greater acts of cruelty and depravity to ensure nobody forgets the Legion, all aspiring to be the greatest mass murderers in history.
Pyramid Head and Deathslinger are interesting in that they are not under the Entity's control at all and their presence within the fog is entirely mutual.
Deathslinger is pulled in as a direct response to Vigo's Marauders (Talbot, Vigo, Dwight, Jake, Claudette, Felix, Yui) and has been paid for in iridescent glass coins to torture them in particular to the point of sending them to the Void.
Pyramid Head has been loaned to the Entity by Silent Hill itself. The Entity and the will of Silent Hill bargained for Pyramid Head's presence, sensing its insatiable need to harvest pain, just as the Entity does as well. What the Entity didn't realize, though, is that Silent Hill judged the Entity unworthy, and allowed Pyramid Head to enter the Trials, but he, too, disrupts the trial. His true purpose is to punish, but not the survivors. It tears its way through the Entity's Realms as a malignant cancer, starving the beast by punishing the survivors in his own way and leaving the very fabric of the Entity's world twisted, scarred and bleeding.
The Clown was initially here out of fear, trying to dodge the authorities as well as the circus folk he's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over. However, he can actually hear the Entity's voice clearer than any other Killer to date and has discovered his situation to be wildly exciting. The Entity has allowed him to survive his condition (that being his severely chemically burned lungs) and, after pleading with him, has even brought his horse into the fog. Hell, his carriage is filled with sweets and trinkets, all manner of gifts from the Entity, and in exchange, he is the happiest to do its bidding, finding it all to be a sweet release from the stress of being on the run and having to hide his fetish. Now he gets to revel in it to his heart's content, and they have formed a very cordial bond, perhaps even a friendship.
Adiris is hysterical in her belief that the Entity is one of her Babylonian gods. She sees the Trials as, exactly that, a trial of faith and perseverance. She believes that she is being tested by her gods, and that every life she purges in its name is a life gifted back to her people. She has taken their illness into herself, hoping that serving the Entity here will cure them of their malady. She is pained to do what she does to the survivors, but she also feels a righteous hatred for them, for if they were not heathens, then they would not be marked for sacrifice so.
Trickster is actually maligned by the Entity, and still sees him as a Survivor. He was never intended to be a champion of the fog and so any adoration that the Trickster feels from the Entity is purely one sided. He is just there to have fun, and enjoys every second of the trial. The Entity is the audience. Set dressing, really.
Charlotte is a survivor as well, in every sense. She endures the Trials in a very similar way to the existing survivor cast, but her cynical and violent nature leads her to kill all of her partners in fear that they will hurt Victor, her brother and the true Champion of the Fog out of the two of them. Victor was brought into the Fog and resurrected after it felt the true potential for cruelty in him. The pure, malicious spirit that drove him to aggression time and again. Charlotte is simply desperate to never lose her brother gain and is trying to build a home for herself and her brother out in the Fog where they can hopefully, one day live out eternity together, alone.
There's a lot of stuff going on between all the killers.. with a few exceptions, like Nemesis, who is literally just there for 'reasons.' We don't know. They put ZERO effort in the RE Chapter lore.
