Story: Clock Tower 3 and Dead by Daylight
I've seen plenty of suggestions for Scissorman as a killer in Dead by Daylight, but that isn't my goal in this post (and why this isn't in the Suggestion forums).

What fascinates me when it comes to Clock Tower and Dead by Daylight is Clock Tower 3 specifically. While the first two Clock Tower games deal with one killer (sort of), and the third game is just weird and isn't really focused, Clock Tower 3 (the numbering is weird) went in an entirely new direction that I had always found fascinating.

Clock Tower 3 introduced the concept of an Entity that preys upon vulnerable souls in order to turn them into Subordinate killers. I liked this because, even though there was never another Clock Tower game to actually build on it (and both Haunting Ground and NightCry go in different directions), it opened up so much potential for what could be done without retreading the same ground over and over.

If that sounds familiar, it's because it's basically what Dead by Daylight has as its basic premise, down to almost the same terminology, and I find that even more fascinating. The biggest disappointment for me is that Dead by Daylight doesn't really expand on the idea either because it's more of an arena multiplayer game than anything with a continuing story, but it's still great to see someone else tackle the idea at all.

It's a pet peeve of mine in horror franchises that, especially because the villains tend to be the most iconic parts of them, they tend to repeat the same ideas until they run them into the ground, and it also tends to ruin any sense of stakes because you know the killer is always going to magically come back no matter what happens. I really like the idea of moving the central conceit onto something more overarching, so you can actually have different killers with something that doesn't beg to be resolved as what ties the franchise together instead.

It's also why, as much as I think Scissorman and Jennifer are the proper killer and survivor choices for a Clock Tower addition to Dead by Daylight, I can't help but want to see the likes of Sledgehammer, Corroder, Chopper, and the Scissor Twins as well. I'm also not posting this in the suggestions as I don't feel right asking for so much (although I think some could be done as skins, Sledgehammer could be any straightforward killer, Chopper is basically just the Huntress, and Corroder could maybe work as a Plague skin), but it's that stable of killers that I found so fascinating about Clock Tower 3 and now about Dead by Daylight.

The Corroder was based on a real life killer as well and he was the only one that scared the heck out of me so he gets my vote. I could see them making the Scissor Twins work in game. If they brought Alyssa into the game she would have to be aged up to 18 or more since in the game she was what....14?
