Do Susie, Joe and Julie actually exist?
Or is it all in Frank's head? I know that The Legion is supposed to be that "kids today, anyone can kill with the wrong influences" kinda thing. Which is why their Survivor is Jeff an old rebel who represents the harmless elements of what adults fear about teens by being a very stable and laidback all grownup representation of rebels and counter culture.

So thematically it makes more sense that they DO exist. Because then it represents peer pressure and getting carried away with group-think. But at the same time...Legion only has 3 perks despite supposedly being 4 people, Julie looks more like a clone of Frank than her own person and she's supposedly Frank's girlfriend, this is a game of 1 killer versus 4 survivors the word The Legion has very little significance then and the killers secondary titles are supposed to be what the survivors call the Killers. Yet it's used to describe them here even though they would only ever witness one member of the group at a time...the term "Legion" is often associated with the Biblical reference "I am legion, for we are many" which refers to demonic possession. Which is sometimes interpreted as DiD or Dissociative Identity Disorder or in laymen's terms Multiple Personalities.

What do you think? Are Susie, Joe and Julie real? Or is Frank just crazy?

I do think Julie exists since the backstory suggests there being at least one more person to be able to do everything. However Joe and Susie could be their alter-egos.

I would however love if there was a mechanic that switched in a kid every hook. Like say when you hook someone another "legion" comes running, gives the one that hooked a high-five then you play as the new one.

I think they all exist because there are no real signs for Frank being insane and there is evidence that supports the existence of the other three like Jeff that painted for them all or that all of them look different and i dobt that Frank can change his body proportions to look thinner, look like a woman and sound like one.

Personally i don't really know if you could say perks are cannon at least how they work in the game with the teachables and everything around them.
But if they are cannon they are more or less just abilities killers and survivors have as example Brutal Strenght that tells us Trapper is very strong and in the case of Legion they have the same abilities.
Also saying it is weird that Legion has 3 perks but 4 members wouldn't work because every other killer has 3 perks so there would have to be just one perk for them in comparison.

In The Legion concept art, it also kind of suggests that Julie, Susie, and Joey don't exist because we see Frank looking in a mirror with the rest of the gang neatly aligned next to him; it looks illusion-like, and it kind of looks like Frank is losing his mind. Honestly, it'd be a huge plot twist. Still, someone asked if any of the killers had any friends/relationships with the other killers or survivors, and the devs stated only The Legion are friends (though they could be imaginary friends, maybe).

It'd be an interesting idea for a Legion power/rework. Frank takes on a different persona each time he hooks someone, and said persona might have a different power/improved ability. It'd be really interesting if it turned out Frank was suffering from multiple personality disorder, but I feel like The Legion's chapter was simply about teenage rebellion going horribly wrong.

Now that that would be a way to fix Legion.

I have no reason to believe they are not real.

Frank is pretty messed up and everyone else encouraging and joining in on his behaviour makes sense for the gang.

I don't really see any evidence for Legion being just Frank.

I remember back when that image was first released, everyone thought that was the case (or at least no one expected it to be a gang) I even thought that it was someone with MPD,and the different masks gave him different abilities.
well at least julie does because there is a women's jacket not just a man's
