Theory: The Trapper And The Huntress Are Siblings?
The Trapper’s mother is never mentioned in his backstory. The Huntress’ father is never mentioned in her backstory. What if Anna’s mother married Archie Macmillan and had two children, before having to go back to Russia some reason, mostly likely because of the WW1. The ring that Anna wears is most likely her mother’s wedding ring. If her mother kept her wedding ring, then that means her mother didn’t get divorced. When Anna and her mother didn’t return to America, Archie didn’t tell Evan about his sister, to spare him from grief. Anna and Evan don’t remember eachother because they were probably very young before being separated. This also explains why Anna’s last name is never mentioned. To hide the fact that she is a Macmillan. They are both ambidextrous and also have a similar interest in hunting. They also have a similar height, making Anna even more significant as she is the tallest (the only tall) female killer. Benedict Baker’s journal also says that he was researching the town of Weeks in 1956, after it was abandoned. Which means that Evan grew up, killed all his employees, and was taken by The Entity before 1956. Which means that Evan could have been a child during WW1. Additionally, perhaps Anna was attacking WW2 soldiers in her forest, which means that she grew up, after her mother had to leave because of WW1, and both her and Evan were alive during WW2.

I see there three problems in this theory in these are:
1. Why should the mother leave the US with only one of the children?
2. The mother was already dead when Anna attacked the german soldiers in WW1
3. Archie was a rich man (see the family that wanted his fortune) so he probably would have used
money to keep her in the US

Interesting theory. You could maybe ask that on the Q&A .

1. Anna may have possibly had separation anxiety from her mother, and the same may be for Evan, since they both idolize their respective parents.

2. Perhaps Anna was attacking German WW2 soldiers.

3. That’s a very good point.

1. Fair point
2. She may also attacked ww2 soldiers BUT if this is the case as it isn't told in the lore.
She attacked ww1 soldiers because the lore states the germans attacked the "collapsing Russian Empire" which has to be the russia in WW1 as in WW2 they weren't really collapsing and russian empire was their name in WW1 and not WW2
