About The Trapper's lore

I've found this longer version of his lore from Dead by Daylight Wiki, but I noticed that it's a bit different from his lore on both in-game and official site. I figured that developers changed his lore, but is the shorter one more current version? If so, why did they shorten the story?
I'm quite new to the game and this made me horribly confused; plz help me out.

+) additional question: I've heard that the metals on Evan's arm is the evidence of The Entity's torture, caused by his disobedience. Anyone got source on this one?

Yeah, and Sally's lore got tweked recently, but there's more about Evan than we see, say for example the text on his perks referencing the Entity as some motivator and master - much like his father.

Oh, so the version where he killed the workers by his father's command is the canon now?
I thought the longer version made more sense, though... cause it explains his father's death.

It's simple really - the old had her rocking back and froth in the newly empty halls of the asylum and in the game lore she murded some ambulance drivers.
ps. How new are you? Do you know about moris?

It's simple really - the old had her rocking back and froth in the newly empty halls of the asylum and in the game lore she murded some ambulance drivers.

Could you please link the source where she killed ambulance drivers never heard about that only heard about her story killing everybody in the asylum
Edit: I think all lore is canon that is on the dead by daylight website as the wiki can be edited and wrong things can be added to characters

AH I see they added this one sentence at the end of her story for whatever reason probably to tell how she got missing.
But the wiki article on the trapper is then completly wrong as his ingame description and on the official website still tell the same story
Edit: The same also applys to the wraith as the wiki tells a completly diffrent story than the ingame and website story

Thanks a lot! I'm gonna look that up right freakin now.
I played about 30 hours, and if you mean Memento Mori I know it but I've seen it in game only twice or so.

If you want to see the real storys look at the ingame descriptions or on the official website http://www.deadbydaylight.com/manual/lore/ Even though this part with the ambulance is missing on the website they probably have forgot to update it

Yup, she strangled me and then shut my eyes. So kind of her.

At first i also thought she shuts my eyes but she just touches your face as her hand doesn't go over both eyes which makes it a bit more creepy
