How old are the survivors?

I’ve always been curious about this, I can get a good guess of two, but you guys can fill in the rest.

I’m asking this question in terms of when they arrived, not their actual age.

I think Min is the youngest survivor, as her polo description says it’s from the 2016 e-sports championship, so she disappeared around 2016. I think Laurie is the oldest, because she is based off of the original Laurie, who existed in 1978, the first Halloween movie.

What do you guys think? I think I can guess for a few, like Nea. She might have disappeared in the 90’s because punk style was popular back then.

Bill- Let's say he was 20 during the Vietnam War... so that ended in 1975 (would have been 35 then) and I think l4d took place in 2008... 35 + 33 = 68. My estimate is 68.
Laurie-26? (don't even ask me how I got this... had to go through a lot of ♥♥♥♥)
Tapp- 62 (actor was born in 1942 and his character died in 2008... subtract 1942 from 2008 and I got 62)
Jake- He dropped out of highschool and went to live by himself... he would be 18 when he dropped out, let's add on about 3 years... so 21 is my guess.
Dwight- Being the legal age to drink... 21 - 27 years old is my guess.
Meg- Left highschool to help out her dying mother... so 18 and add a year on to it and that would be 19.
Claudette- No clue... but she looks around the age of 20.
Nea- Extremely rebelious, so I think she is becoming an adult, so 19.
Ace- He is described to look like a 50's movie star, so I guess he is over 70 years old (the oldest one of the survivors)
David- He is at LEAST 30. The legal age of drinking in Manchester is 18 and he looks well above the age of 29.
Feng- Quentin is the youngest... so Feng is anywhere between the ages 18 - 20.

I’m unsure about the others, but Laurie is definitely 17, as she is taken directly from the first Halloween movie based on her appearance.The Entity took her from that time period, not her older versions.

CaptHicks covered everything pretty fully. If I was to add anything it would be this: the entity exist outside of the normal world and brings the survivors and killers into its realm. Because of this, we can infer that the entity does not necessarily operate within a linear construct of time. It could take someone from 2016 and then take someone from 2004 in that sequence. Furthermore, we don't know if the survivors age in the realm of the entity (I lean towards the notion that they neither the killers age).

Oh and as for Tapp, he died in 2004. Well, we can't exactly be sure about the timeline as the Saw films don't overtly reference anything that could lead to them being placed. 2004 was the year the first Saw released. All we know is that the first few films in the franchise took place before/concurrently with the modern digital age. Hence the reason Jigsaw used cassette tapes, VHS tapes, and large boxy televisions instead of phone recordings, DVDs and flat-screens.

If CaptHicks is pulling 2008 from the Saw: Flesh and Blood Games, then it is important to note that the video game is considered Non-Canon. Tapp "died" at the end of the first film. So if we assume 2004 then based on Danny Glover's age at the time, we can say that Tapp is roughly 58.

Ace

70+ seems a bit old to me. He was described as looking "like" a 50s movie star. That doesn't mean he was alive in the 50s. We don't even know from what time he was taken. The best guess I would have, is that based on appearance Ace is anywhere between 50-60.

Thus Bill is likely the oldest survivors which fits in with his appearance (visibly looks the oldest). The L4D wiki described him as being in his late 60s at the time of his death, so that fits with CaptHicks' estimate.

Confirmed by devs: All of them (including Quentin and Laurie) are over 21.
