Basic rule rundown:

Survivors can use each perk up to twice per team. Only OoO is banned.
Item choice is any yellow item & addons. Firecracker is allowed.

If I recall killers can use green and under addons (they changed this a few times so not 100% sure). *edit* : it seems purple addons are allowed for most killers.

*note*: it seems specific addons were banned that were overpowered for spirit and nurse.

That's the sad reality though of how poorly balanced the game is when you understand the mechanics and play SWF.

I would love to see a mini tournament where you take all the survivors and make them play "against" each other. Have all the survivors randomly matched with no pre planning other than the 1 minute before the game starts. And then see how well they play when not under SWF conditions.

Death was never a proper accounting of game balance. Pip states are a better representation.

The escape rate at any given time is forced to move closer to about 50% so that figure you generated is fiction.

The pip system is seriously broken. Killer can 4k on red ranks and black pip.
I mean, wtf? Survivors can gen rush and pip.

This is the first pvp game that gets balanced around low ranks instead of high ranks.
DbD has so much potential to be a competitive E-Sport game.
The devs could collect information and solve balance issues by working together with E-Sport teams.

Like the OP said above, they never intended this game to be balanced well, and they don't plan on making it more balanced than they already have. Their main target base, average players, have fun vs other average players. I also have fun most of the time as a decent player. I just don't like the fact that I have little chance vs other decent players due to the balance at times.

I watched a good bit of the tournament buildup before any teams had joined. They had intended to prevent exactly that scenario - and the moderator even commented on that.

Very interesting games.
The part where a very good Nurse (way better than me) got spanked should quiet the "OP" cries.
The Spirit who got dodged and utterly lost will not though. I can here the in-insight comments on his play from here.

I doubt it. Nurse & Spirit are strong, but against very good survivors their strength is offset quite a bit.

I don't think there was more than a 2k so far? (Not ever sure for the 2k)
