Short answer: no.

Long answer: anything that EAC flags is a ban and they will not lift it if it happens. Reshade is not known to cause this, tons of people use it, and bhvr has white listed it in the past.

EAC no longer whitelists reshade. There's a good chance you'll be banned if you use it.

can you source your take? several times the mods of the steam forums say that reshade is whitelisted. hens333, puffalope, kyto are three content creators that i know for a fact use reshade openly. never has anyone ever said it is flaggable by EAC nor has anyone ever mentioned being banned because of reshade.

First of all, if EAC was banning for Reshade there would be 1000s and 1000s of threads on here & Reddit within a couple of hours along with a dozens of YouTube videos considering how many people use Reshade in lots of games that use EAC so obviously they are not.

I'm positive that with the last week maybe two weeks someone from BHVR commented in another thread in here and/or on Reddit about Reshade (since it seems to come up almost weekly) that it is still white listed as its always been.

Edit: Also worth noting that they wouldn't need to ban anyone to stop Reshade from being used because if BHVR didn't want it to be used they can not only block it from working on their end but they could also ask let crosire know they don't want his software used in DBD and he will stop it from being used.

I've used it since 2018 including today for an hour or so, and as previously mentioned by someone else many popular streamers use it and even have their Reshade configs available for download on their discord servers.
