afk killers 2v8

i really hope everyone reports these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who are afk the whole match when their team waited 30+ minutes to get into the match like ♥♥♥♥ you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that do that.

I've only had one AFK killer match this 2v8 and it was both killers. Legion and Nemmy both AFK from the start so I just bothered the zombies for most of the match. Legion got 0 bp but Nemmy still got like 600 just cause the zombies hit a couple people I guess lol

It's complicated, sometimes the matches takes too long to find that you can forget, last night I was waiting, lay on my bed for a while and ended up sleeping. Report will do no difference, I believe nobody would afk for nothing in this mode.

How about they implement the 'play while you wait' feature they said they would so killers don't have 30+ min queues and end up afk

They will, but they said it woudn't be on that one, and expect problems of course.

Or perhaps the Trapper on the saloon map with a (mostly) AFK Ghostface. “Mostly” b/c he did finally come online and got a couple hooks once the last gen had popped, lol.

I will out myself: I was afk one match.

Why?

The queue took 30 minutes.
I'm sitting there and no game to play.
I went to check on dinner which was cooking. turn off stove and clean up.

Come back and 2 gens left, and pop as soon as begin to move.
Even better, partner killer's also AFK.

The queue time is so long you don't expect it to find a match when you take a very understandable break. It's ridiculous.

yeah i hate to break it to u but with the queue times i wouldn't put it past people to just pass out or go do something else, i have been stuck in the queue rn for like half an hour at least :P thus why im reading all the dbd forum posts while i stare at spirit tweaking out

I don't know how that is going to play out. It will reduce the blood point bonus for survivors and fill the lobbies with survivors that are just killing time until their turn as killer.

Maybe work for 1vs4 but not 2vs8. Cuz people play for BP rewards. Since no BP rewards people go to play 1vs4 and make 2vs8 killer waiting to become worse.

I remember getting afk Nurse teammate. Solution? Just played a friendly Nemesis and atleast farmed a bit, because survivors atleast noticed it too.

They are just players who had to wait so long to find a game as killer, then they are gone to toilets or to make a sandwich and when they come back they are sad to discover they missed their game.

If i need to leave my computer for more than 3 minutes, i leave the queue. I know, that i need to wait a long time as killer, so i plan accordingly. If i don't have time to wait on my computer the whole time, i will not enter at all.

I understand, that the times are annoying as hell. But for the survivors and the second killer, it's annoying as hell, if you just aren't there.
Of course there are emergencies sometimes, no one can plan for that. But cooking, making sandwiches or to just fall asleep? That is pure selfishness.

If you don't have time to wait or other things to do, then don't queue up and ruin the match for 9 other people. Especially the 2nd killer, who waited for as long as you.

Not an excuse. Need to go to the toilet? - Cancel the search and go, don't doom your unfortunate teammate to 1v8. I had a nurse teammate who been standing ALL match. Had do give this match away and atleast farmed with survivors who understood my situation.

I had an afk Killer while I was the other Killer. I just assume they got distracted or dragged away after 5... 10... 20... 30... 45... 60 minutes. Wait times for some people are long enough to watch an entire movie. Please forgive them if in the span of two hours they forget they were in a queue. Or end up picking up their kid. Or 20 minute into making a meal for their family. Or they have fallen down a well and found the original Timmy.
