Skillcheck input delay
Hi everyone, i'm having issues with skillchecks, there's a very short delay between pressing spacebar and getting the game to recognize the input. I've tried disabling v-sync and it doesn't seem to help. I'm currently playing on a laptop, but the game runs smoothly and I have around 30-60 ping on each match.

Any idea on what can I change or try to get this done? I'm not an expert in the game, but I was able to hit great skillchecks frequently, and now that's impossible, and i'm even missing a few.

Thanks!

Try a custom game so you can rule out ping issues maybe

Just checked, and still have a little delay.

Again, besides this tiny but noticeable issue, public games run smoothly.

Yeah, it happen for me too from the first time i play dbd. But it consistent about the delay, so we just need adjustment our timing to push the bottom. I usually push the bottom when it's has some small margin before the white bar to target the great skill check. I hope it will help you. :)

Check your refresh rate if you can, on my monitor if I'm running 60hz, I have a near 1 second delay on skill checks, but at 120hz, it is as soon as I press it.

Thanks for your comment! I'm doing that right now, but i'm still trying to predict that tiny delay and it makes me feel dumb when I miss a skillcheck, after a few matches I feel more confident, and yet it doesn't feel natural :( Thank you!

Thank you, I'll look into this. This laptop has a sticker saying 144hz...I'd guess it is already configured?? Other games such as sport games where you have quick transitions feel super smooth, no ghosting whatsoever, so I was under the impression it was already set correctly, but I'll check. Thanks!

Thank you all for your comments & suggestions!
