Daily reward in our inbox?

I noticed a daily reward sitting in my inbox for yesterday. I needed to claim it. This might be the way moving forward instead of the usual pop-ups we see when we find ourselves in the main menu after launch.

I thought I'd create a thread on this as I do not always check messages just because they have a red exclamation mark and this reward message said it would be deleted in a couple of days.

So heads-up I recommend you go to your inbox first thing which is something I will do moving forward.

The only problem I have with this system is when the survey mail was in it even when I read the messages after restarting the game it showed the red exclamation mark.

So even when I have read everything there one restart later will show it as unread.

I guess that's to make people check it out at every game start.

To be honest that is when I started not paying attention as it was annoying to see that message even after completing the survey.

I am not a fan of this new system. I really dislike the "If it isn't broken fix it anyway"
Fix what NEEDS fixed and leave other things alone.

Yep, this is the new system. Today I needed to claim the daily reward in the form of a message. Normally, I would say this isn't an issue since in case they expire a couple of days later (as the message itself) it means you can claim them with delay.

This idea was taken from the DBD mobile game. The thinking goes that if they give too many blood points for free the game will be less of a grind. And it doesn’t matter how many people we inform, some players will never find out and miss out on millions of blood points throughout the game’s life.

Even tho its yet another step back in terms of quality of life in the UI, I wouldn't be bothered by it if they didnt vanish in A COUPLE DAYS.
Why not 30?
