However I honestly would have preferred a character based more on actual trick shots than knife spam which is what BHVR says he is supposed to be about.
I would have preferred a killer based on actual trick shots with fun throwing mechanics. People play huntress because skilled throws feel good, rewarding, fair.
Imagine if trickster was about throwing single slow knives, but about bouncing them off stuff, increasing lethality with the difficulty of the shot.
Trickster is just "Brrrrrrrrt" *Main event as you unhook someone* on PTB atm.
Honestly basekit knife bounce would have been neat. Could even argue to lower the throw speed to compensate for skill expression. Though I still think he was weak and his only oppression is on the 1v1 in dead zones.
On live, yeah I agree.
On PTB you so much as vault a pallet and you are taking at least one hit worth of knives just during your locked animation and then he immediately has main event because of it, even without the addons making you get it faster.
