Now is the time to make kindred basekit.

There's a lot of massive killer buffs in the PTB. Among them is a buff to Huntress base throwspeed, which presumably, increases her Babushka charge speed from 1.12 to 1.16. This is a MASSIVE buff that means that Huntress can probably drop bamboozle from all her builds and run another genblock perk, meaning she can 100% 4k against top 1% SBMM like Nurse and Blight and Oni, although like Oni, there are certain maps that would dab on her.


Instead of discussing if these should be toned down, I think you just offset them by making kindred basekit. SoloQ survivor has desperately needed buffs for a long time, and making kindred basekit like identity V has basically gives every soloQ player an extra perk slot.

The Doc and huntress buffs are huge. And soloQ survivors are long overdue for buffs.

I know survivor are starting to get use to have free perk in their basekit but this is too strong. Kindred is an amazing perk it show where the killer is going after a hook and if the killer play around the hook that just too steong to be a basekit option and on top of that you have a bond.

The huntress buff are scary because of her addon and solo need something to help them but what need to happen is solo player really need to start working on gen more instead of self caring in a cornor or doing a totem or a chest.

Dont forget that pig got nerf again too and apart from huntress the other buff a so bad it wont matter at all maybe hag will be a bit better too but less than 1% play that killer so whatever.

I mean yeah, if survivors played better it wouldn't be a big deal, but the DBD community is hilariously bad.

Or, survivors could just sacrifice one of their 4 perk slots for an incredibly useful perk. Kindred is far from being a wasted slot if you're in a 2 man or are solo. It's up to survivors if they want to run it or not, really.

honestly drop kinder as base kit, tooo good. but unbreakable should be base kit at 2 survivors. windows of oppurnity should be basekit at 12m

You can tell the ones who camp around hooks in here. If you don’t like kindred, don’t stay or tunnel around hooks. It’s not that hard.

Whatever happens. The tunneling is out of control right now. There use to be a time when i would play 50ish matches and 10-15 games were the hardcore tunnelers. Now I’m lucky if I can play 5 matches in a row where I get killers that actually like to challenge themselves to get better at the game and not rely on scummy gameplay.

Killers are not afraid of the “anti-tunnel” perks. They need to be harsh and really discourage tunneling.

Maybe even just HALF of kindred where you see your team. Everyone assuming someone else is going for the unhook while you just go 2nd phase for no reason is pretty whack.

No it shouldn't be added to base kit and we already have an anti camp mechanic. I would rather once hooked the survivor is moved to a new hook with the aura hidden from the killer.

I'd like to see base-kit aura-reading on survivors.

But: it's dishonest trying to justify it with buffs for some killers, all while every single killer got nerfed due to the Mangled change.

Going back to basekit aura-reading: Supporting the base-kit aura-reading idea automatically means, killers have to be buffed, all of them, to A tier.
