Is it bannable to use nightlight (perk icon changer)

I saw some of my fav dbd youtubers using it and making a tutorial about it. They did not say its bannable they did not even mention it and idk if it is bannable so if anyone could say anything

By that I mean that it's technically a modification of the game, from outside the game, so you are breaking the ToS and the rules of the game. You can be banned.

That said:
I have never, ever heard anyone being banned for Nightlight, or heard BHVR say anything about using it as being "cheating".

This is correct! If EAC detects a game modification and bans, BHVR cannot assist in getting the account back.

you never know things are always being changed and updated to find cheats so it could one day maybe possibly you never know

There have been people banned for mods like nightlight and all they had was something to change the colour of their add ons.

The TOS is very strict due to the amount of cheaters in game now and unfortunately something as innocent as a different colour icon for your med kit is viewed at the same level as speed or wall hacks.

Is it fair? No. Is it what is? Yes.

It *is* fair, considering that the step from "just changing the color of your medkits" to "literally changing what the game looks like to give yourself a huge advantage" is very small.
