OP just wanted to know if Sharpening itself had any effect in performance gain if set to 100%.
You advised them well but never stated what OP actually wanted to know.
That sharpening has no effect in performance.
Perhaps minor performance degrade due to processing but that's about it.
It does work, but only if you lower your in-game resolution. Otherwise it only adjusts sharpness, obviously.
FSR when it works already lowers your resolution and then upscales it back. In case of DBD, it does nothing.
