Fasted Way to Farm Iridescent Shards?

Want to buy the non-licensed chars with the in-game currency but even at the 4500 number it seems like it'll take 20+ hours to get enough iri shards?

Is there a way to speed it up?

Also, if I buy a character for iri shards they will come with their 3 perks right? I dont ALSO have to buy the perks?

I don't play enough to have an answer for your first question, but as for your second:

You'll get their perks, just have to do the usual prestige to get them for other characters. The only difference is for some you won't get the unique cosmetic/charm that comes with actually buying the dlc, but that's not really important.

I bought some random DLC packs during the last sale and now I own like some of the parts of the " new bundle packs" and the ONLY way to get what im missing without rebuying parts of it is to not use the DLC route and buy the chars thru these shards or the auric cells.

There is no easy way to get Shards. Shards come from XP. And getting XP is a fine line between spending the time in game to increase XP at the end of it, against, simply just playing whatever the game gives you and moving on to the next game.

Seems like I'll just have to grind for this. Do they do xp events ever?

There was one some time ago, usually they are very short though.

The only real way to get more shards is to play the game. Higher levels take longer to reach, but give more shards as you reach them.

THAT being said, characters often go on sale for half off. It would be a good idea to pay attention to the shop prices from time to time to save your shards.
