Hardest killers to play
Obviously alot of people say nurse but I generally believe nurse is quite quick and easy to get great results.
My top 5 hardest to master I would say are

Hillbilly
Huntress
Blight(you can also get results quickly but it's different)
Clown
Singularity

Just my personal list, experience will also vary.

Nurse is definitely not the hardest, I figured that impression died off a while ago but I guess people still say it.

I really can't decide between Huntress or Billy here, but I'd say one of those two is the hardest. Blight's best add-ons can make up for any skill issues, so I don't want to count him personally.

Yeah it really depends how the person plays too. Artist is arguably hard to master and has some cool plays that can be made and is hardest than most blight techs. But most just people just put a bird down at a window pallet ect to guarantee a hit and force a tile move.
Ghostface can be surprising optimized as well.

I think blight is hardest like you need to do flicking thing and lot of tech to be able to play him with with maximum potential which till this day i still not know how it work

Calling Singularity “hard to play” is like saying it’s difficult to stay dry while swimming. Singularity is frustratingly designed and his power punishes you more than it helps you.

Absolute D-tier killer who’s good for nothing but tunneling and holding a 3gen.

He can be hard, but I've played enough blight that his techs come quite easy to me personally. I would say blight is the most fun killer to play, especially when you nail the techs. You get the results you want with almost any perks.

I can't personally play hillbilly at the same level. He is so hard to curve properly and play efficient vs blight.

I disagree, sure the kit can be used for tunneling and holding a 3 gen. I'm referring to actual chase power and the plays that can be made.

Most singularities will play as you stated but the best singularity players actually play very very well, I myself have been practicing and they have so much potential and is quite hard to master.

I’ll have to respectfully disagree. I just don’t see how the juice is worth the squeeze. You set up a pod an inch too close to a leaf and now you can’t tag survivors despite being able to clearly see them.

Blight and Nurse are a million times more fun and rewarding to master. With those killers, it’s all gas, no brakes. With Singularity, I feel like I’m on a malfunctioning roller coaster.

I dont think we do disagree tbh. Nurse and blight are easier to get great results with. That was the point of the post, I believe singularity has great potential but is quite hard to get great results. It is very possible, but it can be challenging. I think hens has a video of comp players playing him with pretty good results. Also Scott junk has had an impressive showing with singularity.

Full agree though, you will get much better results with blight with random add ons and a little practice. Than you will with singularity with random add on. I also don't think singularity at the very best skill level will touch blight, nurse, or spirit. Still can be impressive non the less.

Trapper
he is very easy to understand but very hard to be actually good with
cuz hes pretty weak and map dependent but some people still manage to be strong with him

sometimes the most stupid trap can get great results
but not just any stupid trap
you gotta have a feeling of how the survivors think

(not saying hes the hardest, just adding to the list)
ZY-CL4P-TP Jul 15, 2023 @ 1:50pm
It depends on the player mostly.
For me the hardest killers to master so far are projectile based.

Yeah trapper has alot of map and macro knowledge required to play effectively.

I do wish we could get reasonable changes to trapper. There is no reason he doesn't base kit start with all his traps imo. Also maybe have addons that make half of your traps "pallet traps" or something similar. They would be harder to spot and maybe trap you when you go to throw a pallet, or slow the throwing process by a couple seconds, as you deactivate the trap when you throw it. Obviously you would only have around 4 so it's not too strong.

Unfortunately, trapper is the noob killer he's designed around being played by noobs against noobs as a feel out the game.

Sure I get that but thay doesn't mean he can't get some changes to make it a little more fun ect. Even the brown add on that let's tou walk through traps, what if it gave you haste. Even small changes like that could make some very interesting play Even at the top end and not change how it's played too much at the bottom end.
