Personaly, I agree with Autumn's statement. Whenever I want to demolish survivors, I pick Onryo, create a perfect slugging/chase build and just SPAM projection. If a TV is turned off, SPOILERS, survivors can not use it to get rid of the negatice effect. By spamming the power smartly you are able to make any gen progress STOP.
Yes, good survivors are always harder to defeat, duh. But the fact that Onryo is able to apply SO MUCH pressure just by pressing one button every 10 seconds is crazy! Killers like Hag, Trapper, Demodoggo, even Skull Merchant need to set up before starting doing ANYTHING, while Onryo jumps straight to the action, applying pressure, starting chases and getting free injures almost INSTANTLY.
Survivor main or not, it is true how Onryo became one of the strongest but also easiest killers to play as. That is a bit of a problem, isn't it? Killers like Nurse, Blight and Spirit require a lot of thinking and skill to be absolute monsters they are (aside from addons), but Onryo is just good no matter what.
Still, I kinda like her rework, at least she is much scarier than she was before. When I face her when playing as Nicolas Cage it is always a good time XD
