No network connection?

The game has always ran fine (Despite when server issues arose) Now it just won't let me in at all for the past hour now. There is no posts about this and it appears no one else is having this issue, trying to contact support and their support bot wont even load. Internets working fine, I checked to see if DBD was allowed through firewall, verified game files, and yet it still persists

You're not alone. I've seen reports across X, formerly Twitter, and downdetector noting network issues with the provider. I can't connect either. We can either wait it out or raise a revolution.

So funny enough I did eventually get it to work through the Xbox launcher by first messing around and copying the EAC folder over to the dbd steam directory which didn’t work for obvious reasons. I then restored the EAC folder that was deleted in the steam dbd folder. Still didn’t work. I then attempted to run the deadbydaylightshipping.exe file directly from the Xbox dbd directory and the game finally opened, only to be met with an initialization error. Clicked through that error and it connected and allowed me to play. Tried steam dbd after and it worked as well. My guess is the dbdshipping file in the binaries folder was probably not running properly seeing as that’s were the error was being thrown in the even logs. Could have also still been an issue with EAC. Or I can just simply blame it on behavior for putting me through that in the first place or try this---->

-Attempting to update the game but no new version exists
-Verify the files
-Make sure the system's date is correct
-Close steam / pc
-Reinstall the entire game
-Update windows driver that just came out
-Delete game files and verify
-Make sure the internet works in the first place
-Make sure your firewall is letting the game throw it
-Try turning your firewall off
-Try Running on a VPN/OVH

If none of this work go to Dead By Daylight website and chat with support--->

I have been working on this for 1 week now after that update before the new killer came out
this is not something your just having its a lot of people. DBD Posted s tweet 5 mouths ago saying they see this
but there not fixing any of it.

Stuff support will tell you to try---> READ
-try moving your router closer to the device you are using to play Dead by Daylight.
-you are using a wireless connection, try using a wired Ethernet connection
-We also recommend that you perform a speed test to ensure that your internet meets the requirements
https://www.speedtest.net/ ---> We recommend at least 7.2 Mbps upload and download speed
1.) Shut down any computers or devices connected to the modem/router.
2.) Unplug the modem and router from their power outlets.
3.) Wait at least 15 seconds.
4.) Plug the modem back into the power outlet first, wait 1-2 minutes, then power on the router.
-please attempt to run Dead by Daylight as an Administrator, as well as try to launch Dead by Daylight directly from your platform's library, and not through a desktop or taskbar shortcut
-we recommend ensuring that your audio and video drivers are up to date. ---> https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/articles/4416666886164-Updating-Your-Drivers
-please ensure that Windows is up to date on your device
-Finally, please ensure that neither your firewall or your antivirus is blocking Dead by Daylight.
We recommend that you add Dead by Daylight as an exception for both your firewall and antivirus to prevent any performance issues from occurring.


If you don't fined the fix in this your mostly just like me out of
luck its DBD servers being trash and sorry ik its a lot of
reading

Simple Fix
Hey just founded out that steam is the problem with the steam servers
because you can download it on the Xbox app or epic and play just fine so if you wanna play DOWNLOAD the game on the XBOX app or EPIC Games!!!
