OP flashlights

why can you get stunned while you are stunned, who thought that was a good idea?! there should be a grace period before you can get blinded again wtf!

Oh there actually is. Just don't stand still like a bot after getting blinded. Look in the air or maybe just turn around and bam, no blind-loop incoming.

maybe if the game didnt allow for such a stupid mechanic i wouldnt have to do something so stupid as looking into the sky, what sort of ♥♥♥♥♥ counter mechanic is that, not to mention they last all dam game, literally no point giving them a timer

Just take Lightborn as Perk & you instantly get rid of every blind, not only flashlights :)

i shouldnt have to level a specific killer to get its teachable and then find that perk in the other killers blood web, there should be a counter to every mechanic rather than lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ such as facing walls when picking people up or looking at the sky

Well the whole point of the bloodweb is to hunt for the perks you want to adjust the gameplay, if you don't want to have to think about your facing direction then you're going to have to unlock Lightborn. It's kind of the very definition of a 'perk', adjusting the gameplay in a small way to suit you.

The other counter is to clear the area when you're trying to pick someone up, and if there's a flashlight in the lobby then go after that survivor first. But you still have to be mindful of your surroundings when grabbing people regardless. Also when looking at the sky or the wall you can still move and swing to hit people - use that to your advantage and you can usually tag a lot of the flashlight users for free.

As a Killer main, it's fairly easy to mitigate survivor flashlight blinds through several different means. There are perks that directly counter flashlights (Hubris, Lightborn). There is playing smarter (pick up facing a wall, or don't pick up when you know another Surv is near). There is still listening and tracking down survivors using audio while you are blinded. If all else fails, you can even slug and then try to bait the flashlight survivor. This also works well if you get a bully squad. But don't come to the forums just to complain about one of the few mechanics the survivors have to punish the killer for playing poorly

I'm wondering if they were just hoping to hear a lot of killer mains complain about flashlights, rather than the same killers telling them ways to counter flashlights and disagreeing that flashlights are a problem (they aren't, but I still get suspicious when I see 3+ being carried into the match XD )

flashlights are annoying yes but there are not a problem at all just do things to avoid getting blinded to take the perk if u never wanna get blinded again or just do the best u can do avoid it your never gonna be able to 100% avoid every flashlight save attempt or anything but you can try and also just use the perk if you are having problems with being blinded alot.

Joking aside, if you're having trouble with flashlights, looking straight down seems to be the most reliable dodge for me. Spinning quickly and looking the other direction can work sometimes, but not as consistently. Definitely also hug a (SOLID!) wall if you have to pick someone up and you don't know where the flashlight user(s) went.

I am 100% sure the next nerf will be on flashlights. They will do similar nerf like on medkit. Maybe you can blind killer only 2 or 3 times with 1 flashlight. They are not done yet to nerf survivors to the ground.

Maybe you want to automatically kill survivors after 15 seconds ? Baby killers are a joke, use ur brain cells. Hex, 1 shot perks and they still cry what a joke
