Legion killer instinct bugged ?
Been playing a couple of games of Legion, the killer instinct after his first attack doesn't trigger 1/3 of the time.
Happened on people clearly in range of the detection, and no perk in the game counters killer instinct.
It's my game being funky or other people also having this problem ?
Kind of game breaking for that killer, specially if it happens early game.

are you using anything that suppresses your terror radius? it doesnt activate if theyre not in your terror radius thats why perks like hysteria and plaything are terrible for them

Plaything and Hysteria are GREAT for Legion.

The killer instinct works with a terror radius, not whether a survivor can hear it or not.

Plaything and Hysteria make the survivors oblivious, but your terror radius stays.

What you don't want is something like Tinkerer, which will completely suppress your terror radius.

seriously?
oblivious supresses your terror radius, no matter what you use, be it hysteria or plaything or etched ruler or whatever, and any surv that isn't affected by your terror radius is invisible for killer instinct

Killer instinct works based off of rather your terror radius is audible or not, oblivious certainly does suppress it. I have purposely kept myself under the effect of plaything so that I couldn't be tracked with killer instinct. Its how its intended to work, for all intent and purposes when you are oblivious you are NOT in a terror radius. At least in this specific case in regards to the legion.

Other instances such as Pyramid head's trails, Pinheads Lament configuration, the twins power, and the artist, those all still will trigger killer instinct.

correction* perks that inflict oblivious don't disturb the legion's power because he already has addons that do that. but perks that remove the terror radius like Dark devotion(further correction: this is a mild inconvenience or good in certain terms but it does change your terror radius so I included it), tinkerer, trails of torment are terrible unless you're going for stealth legion ig.

Congratulations, you've played yourself all that time. Legion already has basekit oblivious in his addons. taking them from addons into perks isn't going to hinder them for as long as they do have a terror radius, it only affects you and benefits them.

Have you checked off the following; the survivor was in the mending still, you have reached your 4th slash and now you have insta down, you are using perks that don't inflict oblivious but outright removes your terror radius, the survivor was too close for killer instinct to be visible?

If none of the things I said ring a bell, you might want to make a bug ticket.

No, it does not. That's literally why they changed borrowed time, because killers could just follow you backwards or be a stealth killer which make the perk outright unusable.

Oblivious does not suppress the killer's terror radius, you just can't hear it, but it's still there. As long as you are in it, it does not matter if you are affected by it or not.
