Steam Offline error...

I have a problem logging into the game. When I launch game, it gives an error that my steam is offline or I have connection problems, although this is definitely not the case. I tried a lot of things and nothing helped. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I bought the game and couldn't even play it even once. I tried to restart the computer and I also tried to launch as an administrator, but it didn't change anything.

Are you even sure about this? It sounds a bit far-fetched. If this were true, the problem would apply to other games, not just this one.

Run steam as administrator

When I have that problem I Restart Steam and if doesn´t fix it I Reboot my PC entirely and solves it.

Reboot? You mean just restart PC? That didn't work either.

These tips are not mine. I just copied them from an answer in a similar thread.

Do the following, after you first "verify the files" in steam settings., and try that:-

1. Go to Steam/ Security / De-autorise all devices.
2. Go to Steam tab, and go offline. now go online. Now go offline.
3. Now log out of Steam.
4. If you have a multiple account load in seatbelt thing, log out off all account here now.
5. Turn off the computer. Wait 10 seconds. (Cold Boot).
6. Restart the computer. Restart Steam. Log in using any authenitifacation checks.
7. Go on line (if its still offline.
8 Start game.

If this does not work:
A. Uninstall the game. Find and delete the residual files
B. Re-insall the game on another drive or at least another place.

If the above has not worked:
a. Restart the computer. Navigate to where the files now are. Find the Deadbydaylight.exe file, right click on it and run as Administrator.

If this fails, you may have to re-install Deadbydaylight, or reinstall steam. If you chose to reinstall steam, bear in mind you could loose all screenshots and game saves, etc.

We find this tends to happen in 3 situations:
a. You crashed out on this device or another one where you were logged in.
b. You uninstalled and re-installed the game. But to a different location.
c. You changed your profile IRL. (not the avatar name, the profile address)
