solo queue is impossible
since when solo queue became so hard? I'm not talking matchmaking but survivor brains
2 hours of constant games and can't do anything. I mean, no, in the contrary, i have to do everything because if i don't, nothing gets done: unhooks, heals, gens, getting chased... and when i go down everyone goes down and it's game over. I want my achievement, and i don't want to call people names but in all my hours of dbd it's my first time seeing such bad teammates
also if you add the absence of friendly killers, you know, the smart ones that got their achievement and know you want it aswell so they let you go (i know friendly killers don't exist anymore cuz toxic survs bla bla bla i get it but i'm not toxic i never run flashies or tbag)

Some time between me leaving, a year ago, and me returning. I had a game where the whole team went down, trying to save me from basement. It was agonizing. Though there are also good solo queues out there.

You completely right soloQ is a big problem almost unplayable, all good survivors left that game after they star reworking maps, animations, medkits and etc...im struggling just like you playin soloQ. U can win only with SWF...its a shame what happend with survivor side...and im playin since 2019...players in dbd become very toxic, arrogant, selfish, killers just humilating survivors by any means-camp,tunnel, sluggin...its a shame killers in dbd are become just animals with zero understanding how bad survivor side right now...

For me the biggest issue with solo q is people not knowing how to do stuff when it most matters.

Best example is when we were two left when all gens were done, and Leon opened the gate and refused to leave so i can get a hatch since i was chased. I had no other option but to find the gate he has opened thinking he was gonna take a hit and help me escape. Boi, was i wrong, the moment he saw me approaching with killer up my ass, he escaped and i was killed.

Killer did not have noed btw nor any perks that can insta down you.

survivors are their own worst enemy every time ive lost by more than a sliver its been because my so called "teammates" have been absolutely terrible

The problem with solo Q is there's only the UI and very little else for communication. Meaning no actions will intentionally line up. right place, right time. or wrong..

Healing you have to try and find another survivor, w/perks this can become easier. Self-heal, a med-kit so you don't have to search for another and can rely on yourself to get back up (+BP's any and everywhere you can take them)

Generators...This one is the big one because the games big objective is to escape...
Solo Q survivors are too scared to stick them. if a terror radius appears or they see killer nearby they'll be frozen for a good minute or 2 doing absolutely 0 to help with any efficiency. Unfortunately this is a choice for many many many Solo Q players as they'd rather survive last n such if they fit a game as over.. Which honestly beats the point for me bc I've had many solo q matches where me and the last would progress enough to both get out..alive. Point being is you can't communicate and others aren't willing to take a minimal risk at the cost of objective play. let alone you get into a 3 gen and have to be doing lil touchies every 10 seconds cause killer chooses to follow nobody.

Unhooks are rough as well. Stealth killers could be proxy w/no means to let the team know that they should stick to it and not worry. Has caused a lot of unfortunate game overs lol

Those are my biggest takeaways, as a mostly solo Q player it's about adapting, If I'm in a chase for 1-2min and no gens are worked on? I'll run the killer to a mate and force chase on them so i can get workin on a gen. Smart killers won't chase a whole match away, so forcing rotation is viable...and it works especially well for survs you notice are lacking and can be amazing bait.

You can get wins in Solo Q and it's pretty easy so long as you focus on plays that bring points. Choosing when and when not to heal (Legion...) Anyways, if you outperform the killer in BP's (w/out escaping) is that not still a win? you played more of the game than they did.

I noticed that there are waaay more new players coming to this game.
Whenever I check their steam profiles(if they are on Steam) and I see their playtime ranging from 8 hours-40 hours.

i agree, it's harder than being on comms. but i've seen many solo queue players doing good (i don't expect people to be at the top of their skill everygame too, that's a bit extreme) like they ran the killer for 1 to 2 gens which is already more than enough to avdance in the match. Others were super altruistic meaning despite not doing gens all the time they were focused on seeing everyone healed, which again, gives us avdantage too
but rn i feel like the mindset of solo queue players is "do all the objectives for me or i give up"

new players is a good thing
and my solo queue teammates were not new players (unless 800 to 2k hours is still "new" to you)

Yeah, didn't say it was a bad thing, but they are always scared to do gens.

Like the last game I had was against the Pig, it was a 1v3, one surv was already sacrificed.
I did the remaining 3 gens and had to maneuver whenever I get chased.
Funny thing is, one of the scaredy surv was a prestige 42. It's either that player is letting his/her lil bro/sis play the game or a friend borrowed that account from the original owner.

UPDATE: solo queue is possible
you just have to be against me as killer, because my lobbies are full of competent survivors when i play killer, everyone does the gens optimmally, despite me being terrible and low rank killer
i guess the game just wants me to be always in the losing side (which would be fine by me, as long as i'm getting paid to lose, like 5$ the game played as killer)

I see it as both killer and survivor. Killer? People will run around swarming me and body blocking me -while injured- trying to save another survivor from a hook stage. A Renato did it to me the other day and was not only injured, but on death hook... So I downed him, dropped the survivor I was carrying, grabbed him and put him on hook. Thanks for the kill!

He proceeded to call me scum at the end of the match lol.

As survivor I'll be on hook watching as literally nobody touches a gen until everyone's been two hooked. I'll be the only person that does anything at all objective oriented while everyone else just stands around doing nothing. Then somebody gets downed and everyone starts swarming around the killer like they're trying to do an any% death hook speedrun.

And God forbid I'm the first person that gets found and chased, coz then NOTHING gets done. I can't get on a gen because I'm struggling for dear life and everyone else is, idk, taking a whiz in the bushes or something?

I sometimes get good matches but the soloq experience is pain

no its common thats why killer mains (i am one ) will automatically respond with skill issue when survivors complain because like id say 75-80 percent of the survivors i encounter arent just bad they are actively trolling
