Cross Progression for xbox

i just got into PC gaming. i have all my skins on xbox. in the settings it says you can link BE accounts and xbox accounts and it wont let me ):
i have a BE account but still cant merge. i have both xbox and steam synced. am i doing something wrong?

Ooo... BUMP! - I'd like to know the answer to this too, I didn't even know you could link it together.

Got this game on 4 platforms now so the family can play together, would be nice to be able to merge some of the effort involved.

DBD support site states that cross progression is only available between steam and epic store.

Been trying at this for years now, I have all my Mikaela and killer skins locked to xbox. Hopefully they add it soon but right now no such luck sadly.

they just announced crossprogression coming soon in a steam announcement
