Why cant 2v8 be permanent

They can't even balance regular games, let alone a 2V8. The recent special modes all ended in failure (everyone still went back to playing the regular modes).

people were begging for chaos shuffle to be permanent and the devs extended how long it would last because it was so popular

Because they'd have to balance it and it would be a nightmare to balance, it'll be an amusement to keep us from burning out more than anything.

I think Legion is a sleeper hit for that mode, run around keeping everyone injured and mending, stronger Killer seals the deal.

2v8 isn't going to be the great thing you probably think it is. Right now, it's only like the 4 original killers and they don't even have their exact powers. Its' an alternate game mode with different rules and everything. So if you are say a Chucky main? You won't be able to play him in 2v8.

this mode will be total carnage for suvivors if the killers work together and have coms imagine a goastface (when stealthed) or scratch mirror myers walking around with a killer that has good mobility like blight or spirit or something chasing you you vault a window and next thing you know theres a myers in your face jumpscares will be a thing im sure

i think it should be open to all killers but still sounds fun as heck.

I mentioned that in another thread before we learned that it was the first 5 killers minus Michael. By the way MM would be an absolute beast with infinite T3 addon because there would be so many people to stalk.

Every killer has a passive buff shared between each other up to 22 non-licensed killers, each are unique, this would require a lot of time to test for bugs

2v8 will become permanent in a year or two
