easy anti cheat deems my system files evil and freezes my entire pc

it's been happening a few times now. i don't remember the exact file it didn't like because it only showed a notification window one time, but it was one of the system dll files. it kept happening untill i reinstalled the entire game. but even after that, after starting the game one or two times, it started to freeze my pc again, i assume for the same reason as the first time.
does anyone know what i can do about it?

You may be having a issue with anti cheat you can try to reinstall it and if that does not fix the issue it may be one with your save files and they are located in app data folder my users/name/mydocuments/appdata

turn off the cheats.

Run the .exe. in the system files. There is an EAC or Easy Anti-cheat folder there. It allegedly resets it. I have had that work in the past.

If you are running more than one platform (Steam/ Epic, etc.), then you may have two folders, for it. So, be careful not to mix them up.

From this forum, there seems to be a problem with EAC and installing other games using other anti-cheat apps. I forget which one specifically. It is something like ACE. Or some other interation of A, C and E. But, the point being, it clashes if you have games installed, or more likely recently run, using these other systems.

I have a problem myself with Decieved Inc. If i play that game and then come to DbD, I get EAC issues, sometimes, and have to restart the computer.
