My anxiety goes through the roof when i get an itch on my nose *starts sweating
It's like I always have to finish a skill check before I leave the gen, otherwise i'm missing it
I do feel this is true though i dont know what perks. I have done a lot of tests with scavenger and the skill check rate is dramatically lower in my sample size of ~27 trialls.
But in the endit doesnt really matter. Even if it were proven, theyre entitled to baalance the game how they want. Im not saying its not worth discussion, i just stopped trying to overthink it and do what works for me.
The opposite is true as well. Usually I average 2-3 skills checks healing other survivors, but the second I bring surgical sutures I do heals without facing skill checks at all.
I have also had the suspicion that the player's ability to hit the great skill checks is soemwhat related to the connection. Playing surv matches back-to-back I just cannot believe that my skill - literally -changes that much within 1-5min.
in several cases I wanted to scratch my nose and asked myself why skillchecks don´t go with right mouse button....
Nothing to do with skill-check though, because many time when I let off the gen without rushing I can hear the skill-check noise but then nothing happens. Unlike when I leave it while holding shift, the gen will explode without any skill-check notification.
